It’s been 2 years since i started using fluxbox DM on my Debian Linux, and, as i explained before i evaluated the possibility of returning to Gnome, for that i spent 15 days with it and as a result Gnome didn’t convinced me at all of a return possibility so i keep currently using fluxbox on my Linux desktop…
That all until i bought a macbook (intel core 2 duo based) and started using MacOSX. Now i must agree with what most mac user says, Apple engineers did really redefined the concept of a desktop environment, MacOSX is not only the-ultimate-user-friendly environment but the system (based on BSD/Darwin/NEXTSTEP) comes with a bunch of bundled software that makes any user smile from the beginning, it is completely lovable, the minimalistic design of the computer plus the OS itself makes a macbook a must have computer, best of all, its features wont stop surprising you… who knows maybe in a near future i might even install Debian on valhala.
